Bury me a G

[Verse 1: 2Pac]
Tell me how can I survive? Remember me?
Life as a G, these money making activities is killin' me
I'm tryna ball, but the alcohol making me hurl
Paranoid like it's me against the world, will I live or die?
My only question: When I ride will I be murdered?
A victim of some homicide, did I deserve it?
My life is full of misery, forgive me Lord
The streets are full of enemies, watch over me
Intoxicated, I can barely see
I can't sleep, having dreams someone's killing me, am I sane?
My life is pain and I'm stressing, brothas be trippin'
They open fire where I rest, hopin' for death
But I'm still livin' every breath, won't be for me
Retaliation every death, let's make 'em bleed
'Cause do or die is the only way
And though I pray, I can see you getting sicker every day

[Chorus: 2Pac]
And I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G
See, I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G

[Verse 2: Mutah "Napoleon"]
Something 'bout this game that keep a shorty holla for pain
But when they jock from the front I'ma do my thing
I got problems, so I loc'd up, when they killed my parents
Gettin' [?] 'em so I took the hit for granted
And a revolver will be my only hope for escape
Talking 'bout going insane, but the feeling can wait
Who can you blame on these inner-city streets?
They screaming out "Peace!", but everybody is deceased
Just bury me a G

[Verse 3: K-Dog "Kastro"]
Nah, I ain't afraid, just pray that I make top-grade
In the stray, getting paid is the way I play (what?) for keeps
While beef creeps on we got be holding mine
Down from sundown all through the sunshine
They gettin' blasted massive, taking lavish
Thoughts of running countable cabbage
See, I can bury me fly, feelin' my high
Well, I ain't gon' lie
Don't cry 'cause we all gotta meet up in the sky
True G

[Chorus: K-Dog "Kastro"]
I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G
Said I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G

[Verse 4: Big Malcolm "EDI"]
Every day I'm caught up in this paper chase
Just like I miss, will I be crazed when I see my grave?
Stress is someone that's half from all angles like [?]
Where bangers running they mouth not to get strangled
But who am I to talk? I know my time is coming for
Next week it'll probably be me that's underlined in chalk
Terrible thought, but tell my man, sold the potent next time
[?] let it pour for your dawg
Bury me a G

[Verse 5: Young Hollywood "Kadafi"]
Now I went from a criminal with crooked schemes
Now look it seems
They wanna bury me in a hurry
And in my dreams, it's getting drastic op
I picture a plastic gloves
Imaginary spots where casket drops
I laughed at cops that harass my pops
They couldn't last the shot
Tryna get cash, I just stashed you knots
In one day I be done and ready for son
With memories of my fingertips, keeping my lips numb
Retired early out this game with the fortune and fame
That carry on my street name, bury me a G

[Chorus: Young Hollywood]
Said I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G
I said I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G

[Chorus: 2Pac]
Ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G
And I ain't got time for snitches
Gotta keep my mind on my money and my riches
Even when I die, they don't worry me
Mama don't cry, bury me a G

2Pac

Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an actor and a highly influential rapper who is considered by many to be the greatest of all-time due to the revolutionary spirit and thug passion he mixed into his music. During his music career, he made appearances in movies such as his acclaimed debut in Juice (1992), Poetic Justice (1993), and Above the Rim (1994).

Born in Harlem, New York City to Black Panther Party members Billy Garland and Afeni Shakur, Tupac would later move to Baltimore before settling in the Bay Area cities of Oakland and Marin City in the late 1980s. There, he joined his first rap group Strictly Dope with Ray Luv before connecting with Shock G and Digital Underground. He was a roadie and backup dancer for the group before his breakthrough performance on their 1991 song “Same Song.”

2Pac released his debut album 2Pacalypse Now in 1991, which featured intense storytelling on singles such as “Trapped” and “Brenda’s Got a Baby.” His sophomore album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z featured one of his signature songs, the Digital Underground-assisted “I Get Around.” After working on the Thug Life group album in 1994, 2Pac released Me Against the World the following year, which is considered by many to be his best album, peaking at #1 on the Billboard 200 and receiving a Grammy nomination—all while he sat in prison.
