[Intro]
Another Death Row production
Ladies and gentlemen
For Mike Tyson
(Let's get ready to rumble!)
The next heavyweight champion of the world
Hey yo hails for him

[Verse 1]
My road to glory's filled with thorns
Fluent thoughts from my brain and I train to remain strong
They said I couldn’t do it, locked me in chains 'til I
My struggles closer to the pain of a trained killer
Please believe that I’ll never be shamed again
Again I'll be the next heavyweight champion
Call me crazy but no one can fade me
I’m the product of the projects, lost and crazy
Throw your hands up, Mr. Bruno, ride!
Big Mike Tyson 'bout to brutalize that ass tonight
No hesitation in front of the whole nation
I'll beat that ass so bad I prolly violate probation
Through demonstration as I strategize information
Intend to kill so it’s real like I’m catchin' cases, ha-ha!
Let the world know I plan to die
If I don’t leave with what I came for
Won't be denied
Now

[Hook]
My first round's for the times that I spent in a cell
The second round for the media and the lies they tell
The third round for the pain that I felt inside
Best recognize, I won’t be denied
When we ride
First round's for the times that I spent in this cell
The second round's for the media and the lies they tell
The third round's for the pain that I felt inside
Best recognize I won’t be denied
When we ride

[Outro]
Iron Mike Tyson
The youngest heavyweight champion ever
(When we ride on our enemies)
And the next champion, believe that!
(When we ride)
You know how we put it on westside hahaha
This is what it sounds like
(When we ride on our enemies)
Frank Bruno! Pfft, you know he ain't got no wings hahaha
Who's next?
Yeah!
(When we ride on our enemies)
This is what it sounds like
(When we ride on our enemies)
Death Row! That old West side baby
(When we ride on our enemies)

2Pac

Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an actor and a highly influential rapper who is considered by many to be the greatest of all-time due to the revolutionary spirit and thug passion he mixed into his music. During his music career, he made appearances in movies such as his acclaimed debut in Juice (1992), Poetic Justice (1993), and Above the Rim (1994).

Born in Harlem, New York City to Black Panther Party members Billy Garland and Afeni Shakur, Tupac would later move to Baltimore before settling in the Bay Area cities of Oakland and Marin City in the late 1980s. There, he joined his first rap group Strictly Dope with Ray Luv before connecting with Shock G and Digital Underground. He was a roadie and backup dancer for the group before his breakthrough performance on their 1991 song “Same Song.”

2Pac released his debut album 2Pacalypse Now in 1991, which featured intense storytelling on singles such as “Trapped” and “Brenda’s Got a Baby.” His sophomore album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z featured one of his signature songs, the Digital Underground-assisted “I Get Around.” After working on the Thug Life group album in 1994, 2Pac released Me Against the World the following year, which is considered by many to be his best album, peaking at #1 on the Billboard 200 and receiving a Grammy nomination—all while he sat in prison.
