[Refrain: 6LACK]
At the beginning of every day
It's important to take a knee and pray
I forgot sometimes but got the faith
When the odds against me, I still find a way
At the beginning of every day
It's important to take a knee and pray
I forgot sometimes but got the faith
When the odds against me, I still find a way
At the beginning of every day
It's important to take a knee and pray
I forgot sometimes but got the faith
When the odds against me, I still find a way
At the beginning of every day
It's important to take a knee and pray
I forgot sometimes but got the faith
When the odds against me, I still find a way

[Verse 1: 6LACK]
Money, car, clothes, that's the shit that's all around me
Big booty hoes, that's the shit, they tryna drown me
In but I know that there's more to life than that, man
Plus, a nigga got two strikes on him 'cause he a black man

[Chorus: 6LACK]
Ridin' down Redan
Please light up the weed man
I've been fuckin' stressin'
Can't wait for the weekend
So I can go out with my niggas, drown all of this pain
In some champagne
Make it rain, probably lose my damn, brain

[Verse 2: 6LACK]
Then fuck up some commas
Then take care of momma, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
The bills steady comin' (Yeah, yeah)
And she gotta handle it (Yeah, yeah)
I gotta hurry before she get old and start callin' for some help
How can I help my mom, if I can't help myself?

[Chorus: 6LACK]
So I'm ridin' down Redan
Somebody call the weed man
'Cause I've been fuckin' stressin'
I can't wait for the weekend
So I can go out with my niggas, drown all of this pain
In some champagne
Make it rain, probably lose my damn, brain
But that don't mean a damn thing

[Refrain: 6LACK]
At the beginning of every day
It's important to take a knee and pray
I forgot sometimes but got the faith
When the odds against me, I still find a way
At the beginning of every day
It's important to take a knee and pray
I forgot sometimes but got the faith
When the odds against me, I still find a way

[Verse 3: Gucci Mane]
I feel like the Lord had to punish me
Three years in the pen and they humble me
This shit get so tough, you gotta take a knee
And to my brother B, thank you for your honesty
Fuck the past, my focus on what's in front me
Fuck the media, the feds and the industry
In my cell, got my bible, readin' Timothy
'Cause when you young, rich and black, you get no sympathy
You could've chose anybody, but you chose me
I could've did thirty years, but I did three
I know the Lord guided me, 'cause I couldn't see
And He the one that gave me air 'cause I couldn't breathe
I couldn't breathe
I couldn't breathe (I couldn't breathe, I couldn't breathe)

[Outro: Gucci Mane]
Lord
