[INTRO]
Whoa oh, uh
Whoa oh oh yeah
Ooh oh ooh ooh

[VERSE 1]
I knew you before 'bout five years ago
Then you seemed to be like a person
Who didn't act like the people I know
Yeah, something was special about you
A bit insecure but still kind of cute
At the same time easy to talk to
And now I see you again
Now you're looking so good

[Chorus]
Voulez-vous danser aah avec moi, aah
Voulez-vous danser avec moi ce soir
Voulez-vous danser

[POST-Chorus]
Ooh oh ooh ooh
Voulez-vous danser

[VERSE 2]
I look in the mirror and what do I see?
You're the same kind of person, you're like me
And I can't run away I'm so attracted by you

[Chorus]
Voulez-vous danser aah avec moi, aah
Voulez-vous danser avec moi ce soir
Aah

[MIDDLE 8]
No more hesitation
You're what I've been searching for
So stay close to me
I wanna give you a better life
L'amour eternal
L'amour eternal
Aah voulez-vous danser avec moi ce soir

[OUTRO]
Voulez-vous danser avec moi
Voulez-vous danser avec moi
Voulez-vous danser avec moi
Voulez-vous danser
Avec moi
Avec moi
Voulez-vous danser avec moi (Voulez-vous danser)
Voulez-vous danser avec moi
Voulez-vous danser avec moi
Voulez-vous danser
Avec moi
Avec moi

Ace of Base

Ace of Base Is a Swedish pop group who scored a string of international hits in the early-to-mid 1990s. They’re best known for their upbeat reggae-tinged dance-pop songs, including “The Sign”, which was the biggest hit of 1994, according to The Billboard US chart.

The group’s core lineup consisted of producers Ulf “Buddha” Ekberg and Jonas “Joker” Berggren, along with singers Malin “Linn” Berggren and Jenny Berggren (the three Berggrens are siblings). In the early ’90s, their debut single “Wheel of Fortune” became a hit in Scandinavia, which led to the group connecting with producer Denniz Pop (who would later spawn the careers Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and Max Martin).

After the group’s 1992 debut Happy Nation became an international hit (going on to sell 21 million copies), it was re-released in North America in 1993 as The Sign. Three singles from the album became top five pop hits in the US, including “All That She Wants” (#2), “Don’t Turn Around” (#4), and “The Sign” (#1 for six weeks). The Sign went on to sell over 10 million copies.
