"Song 2" is a song by English alternative rock band Blur, the second track from their 1997 self-titled fifth studio album. The riff-based track, known for its overdriven chorus, is among the best-known songs the band has recorded, and easily their most popular in North America. The hook features Damon Albarn yelling "woo-hoo!" as the guitars come crashing in. Released in April 1997, "Song 2" reached number two in the UK Singles Chart, number four on the Australian ARIA Charts, and number six on on US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks Chart. Io! dance...
Everyone everywhere
Everyone everywhere
Ace of Base is in your mind
You're giving me hope
I'm moving back in time
You're giving me hope
I'm moving back in time
Everyone everywhere dance or fade out!
In my mind in my mind in my mind
In my mind you live
You're giving me hope
I'm moving back in time
