[Intro]
Yeah, uh, yeah
Yeah, uh, yeah

[Chorus]
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
It's a matter of extreme importance
My first teenage love affair

[Verse 1]
Can't wait to get home
Baby, dial your number
Can you pick up the phone
'Cause I wanna holler
Daydreaming about you all day
In school can't concentrate
Wanna have your voice in my ear
'Til mama comes and says it's too late

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause the lights are on outside
Wish there was somewhere to hide
My first teenage love affair

[Chorus]
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
It's a matter of extreme importance
My first teenage love affair

[Refrain]
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, yeah, yeah
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, uh, uh, uh
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, yeah, yeah
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy

[Verse 2]
I love our secret meetings
On the 5th floor staircase
I'm gonna give you this letter
Of all the things I can't say
Want you to be my first, my last, my ending and beginning (Yeah)
I wrote your name in my book
You last name, my first, I'm your Mrs

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause the lights are on outside
Wish there was somewhere to hide
My first teenage love affair

[Chorus]
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
It's a matter of extreme importance
My first teenage love affair

[Refrain]
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, yeah, yeah
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, uh, uh, uh
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, yeah, yeah
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy

[Bridge]
Hey, boy
You know I really like being with you
Just hanging out is fun
So maybe we can go to first base
Because I feel you
Second base
Want you to feel me too, boy
Third base
Better pump the brakes
Well, baby, slow down
I gotta go home now

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause the lights are on outside
Wish there was somewhere to hide
My first teenage love affair

[Chorus]
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
Nothing really matters
I don't really care
What nobody tell me
I'm gonna be here
It's a matter of extreme importance
My first teenage love affair

[Refrain]
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, yeah, yeah
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, uh, uh, uh
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy, yeah, yeah
Eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-ayy

[Outro]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, uh, uh, uh, uh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
