The Angry Samoans are an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California.

Formed in 1978 by rock writer “Metal” Mike Saunders, the guitarist Bonze Blayk, and another rock writer Gregg Turner, they were one of the first, most original, and most critically acclaimed hardcore punk bands. Their seminal releases Inside My Brain and Back from Samoa are lightning fast monuments to the creativity and diversity of the California punk rock scene. While their later work is of more mixed quality, they never shied away from experimentation and innovation.
