[Intro]
Lookin' for the boy who is always on my mind
Lookin' for the boy who is oh so hard to find

[Verse 1]
So many tears fell down my wasted face
But that's another time and place
My future's here and it's now
And I think you may be
The one to hold the key
So baby, don't you hurt me

[Chorus]
I'll give you love
Gotta have a man
Who wants to be by my side
Don't wanna boy who's gonna make me cry
Baby, don't you hurt me
Gotta have a guy who's faithful, honest and true
I pray at night
My sweet, it's gonna be you
So baby don't you hurt me

[Verse 2]
Think I've found a lover
That I wanna be my guide
Refreshes my emotions and my fears he overrides
So many tears fell down my wasted face
But that's another time and place
My future's here and it's now
And I think you may be
The one to hold the key
So baby, don't you hurt me

[Chorus]
I'll give you love
Gotta have a man
Who wants to be by my side
Don't wanna boy who's gonna make me cry
Baby, don't you hurt me
Gotta have a guy who's faithful, honest and true
I pray at night
My sweet, it's gonna be you
So baby, don't you hurt me

[Bridge]
It's scary standing looking up at you
Look in your eyes, tell me, are they true?
I don't think I can take a fall again
So hold on tight and it'll never end
'Cause if it's true, then, baby

[Chorus]
I'll give you love
Gotta have a man
Who wants to be by my side
Don't wanna boy who's gonna make me cry
Baby, don't you hurt me
Gotta have a guy who's faithful, honest and true
I pray at night
My sweet, it's gonna be you
So baby, don't you hurt me
I'll give you love
Gotta have a man
Who wants to be by my side
Don't wanna boy who's gonna make me cry
Baby, don't you hurt me
Gotta have a guy
Who's faithful, honest and true
I pray at night
My sweet, it's gonna be you
So baby, don't you hurt me

Atomic Kitten

Atomic Kitten are an English girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998 and put together by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) frontman Andy McCluskey, who served as a principal songwriter during their early years. The original line-up consisted of Kerry Katona, Liz McClarnon and Heidi Range. Range was later replaced by Natasha Hamilton and eventually went on to join Sugababes.

The group’s debut album Right Now was released in October 2000 and peaked at number 39 in the UK. After four top ten singles, Katona quit the group and was replaced by former Precious singer Jenny Frost. “Whole Again” (recorded before Katona left), their next single, became their most successful song when it topped the UK singles chart for four weeks and became the 13th best-selling single of the 2000s. The group re-released their debut album, with some tracks re-recorded with Frost’s vocals. In the UK, the album hit number one, going double platinum after selling over 600,000 copies.

Between 2002 and 2004, the group released a further two studio albums, Feels So Good (which also went double platinum in the UK) and Ladies Night, and a greatest hits album before announcing a break following their 2004 tour.
