Songwriter: Martin Sutton Pam Sheyne

Producer: John Shanks

[Intro: Howie]
Mmm-hmmm, yeah

[Verse 1: Howie]
How come you never know what you got
Until it’s gone?
Too bad ‘cause I never felt so good with anyone
How fooled was I
Into thinking I was gonna be alright
Okay, fine

[Pre-Chorus 1: Howie]
So everyday I try
A little harder to forget her
Lie here convince myself
Tomorrow will be better

[Chorus: All & AJ]
The trouble is I can't get her out of my mind
When I close my eyes at night
Who's gonna save me
Now she's gone? (yeah)
The trouble is there's a part of me
That still can't let go of the memories
And now I know what it is
Love is what the trouble is
(Love is what the trouble is)

[Verse 2: AJ]
How come she said, "you never wear your heart"
Where I can see
Too bad, 'cause now I'm the one who's sorry
How stupid was I
Into thinking I was gonna be alright
Okay, fine

[Pre-Chorus 2: AJ]
So everyday I find
A little something to remind me
No matter how I try
I can't put the past behind me

[Chorus: All & AJ]
The trouble is I can't get her out of my mind
When I close my eyes at night
Who's gonna save me
Now she's gone? (she's gone, oh)
The trouble is there's a part of me
That still can't let go of the memories
And now I know what it is

[Bridge: AJ]
Love has left me lonely
I'm alright, I'm okay
I'll be fine, give it time

[Chorus: All, Nick, (Howie) & AJ]
But the only
Trouble is I can't get her out of my mind
When I close my eyes at night (oh-no, no-no)
Who's gonna save me (oh-oh-oh)
Now she's gone? (oh, she's gone)
The trouble is there's a part of me
That still can't let go of the memories (I just can't)
And now I know what it is (yes I do)
(Now I know) And now I know what it is
'Cause love is what the trouble is

[Outro: AJ & Brian]
The trouble, love
Love is what the trouble is
Hey-hey

Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys are the most successful boy band in history, having sold over 130 million records worldwide, and with their first nine albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Florida natives A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter, along with Kentucky transplant Kevin Richardson, were joined in a band once they attended Lou Pearlman’s auditions for a vocal group in 1992, with the group being completed by Kevin’s cousin Brian Litrell. Once took under the wing of Swedish producer Max Martin in 1995, the stage was set for global domination, attracting the lust of women and the anger of men. While the fad died down and Kevin even left for a while, the band never officially took a break or such.
