[Chorus: Krizz Kaliko]
I'm still throwin' up the hood
I'm still rollin' up the good
They still got me in the spotlight
And even though life is good
And we don't act like we should
They still love me in the spotlight

[Verse 1: Big Scoob]
Most popular, stopping us, it's kinda like a train wreck
Plenty paper but this rap ain't even paid yet
Gutter niggas having figures, it was all a dream
But this music game done switched, I'm the [?] thing
Gutter child nationwide, reach coast to coast
From the middle of the map, what we do the most
Niggas gangbang, niggas slang 'caine
We in position, 'bout to get it from this rap game
Strange Music is the movement, nigga, pay attention
How we do it, get to it, nigga real pimpin'
I see the lights on me, I know I'm shining bright
Still get it how I'm livin', man, it's only right

[Chorus: Krizz Kaliko]
I'm still throwin' up the hood
I'm still rollin' up the good
They still got me in the spotlight
And even though life is good
And we don't act like we should
They still love me in the spotlight

[Verse 2: Tech N9ne]
Ay, remember me, the one you all called devil boy
The one you thought was level to pebbles
Rebel with a metal voice
Now you hearin' the kettle noise
Tech's the best, impeccable, oy
Spotlight
Homie, maybe they think I got right 'cause my mob's tight
Deep inside I'm not nice
Off my flippin' little pistol whip you on a hot night
But they lovin' me
Buggin' while I be bustin' this oven heat
Muslims and thugs and Christians be huggin' me
'Cause [?] and seeped
Straight through their blood and creeped
Through their soul, now I'm in position for rhyming
Strange Music, we climbing
Leaving others behind
And we got the whole fucking world Tech N9ne-ing

[Chorus: Krizz Kaliko]
I'm still throwin' up the hood
I'm still rollin' up the good
They still got me in the spotlight
And even though life is good
And we don't act like we should
They still love me in the spotlight

[Verse 3: Big Scoob]
I'm in the spotlight, limelight, shining bright
Still gutter, dumping butter, when I bless a mic
It ain't no changing or rearanging this a nigga life
So if it's dark, or if it's bright, I can't believe the hype
I'm still the same old nigga tryna chace a dollar
Cause I can't pay my fuckin bills what you screem and hollar?
You say you love me, but my records ain't selling yet
And that's the reason I be frowning, when you tell me that
The little money that you see, I got it in the trap
And Imma be the most famous when I'm locked back
That's where I'm headed, don't regret it, I ain't living right
Don't be believing what you seeing, in the spotlight

[Chorus: Krizz Kaliko]
I'm still throwin' up the hood
I'm still rollin' up the good
They still got me in the spotlight
And even though life is good
And we don't act like we should
They still love me in the spotlight
