[Verse 1]
Here I am again, pretty baby
Hanging around
Tonight I've been in every bar in town
Here I am again, pretty baby
Hanging around
Tonight I have to try out every girl in town
I took some ecstasy
I took my troubles to the East side
I get messed up on the bad side
Wall of blocks A to D
Ended up in somebody else's sheets

[Chorus]
It's so cruel
Hangin' round
Without you, without you, babe
It's so cruel
Hangin' round
Without you
Will it ever be over, babe?
Feel my love, come on over
Over you

[Verse 2]
Here you are again
Pretty babe
Hanging around
Tonight you walked through all my pleasant dreams
Here I am
You know where I look leads to a late night
Low down, low down scene
Really mean
Took the subway to the East side
I get messed up on my bad side
Wall of blocks A to D
Ended up in somebody else's sheets
You know that

[Chorus]
It's so cruel
Hangin' round
Without you, without you, babe
You know what I'm talking about
It's so cruel
Hangin' round
Without you
Will it ever be over?

[Bridge]
Feel my love slide
You know what I'm talking about now
It's so cruel
Hangin' round
Without you, without you, babe
You know what I'm talking about now

[Chorus]
It's so cruel
Hangin' round
Without you
Will it ever be over?
Feel my love, come on over
Over you, babe
For you, babe, for you, babe, for you, babe
Will it ever be over?

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
