[Intro]
Oooh yeah!
Yeah!

[Verse 1]
Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream
It is not dying, it is not dying, yeah!

[Verse 2]
Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void
It is shining, it is shining

[Verse 3]
I said
That you may see the meaning of within
It is being, it is being

Oh yeah!
[Instrument Break]

[Verse 4]
That love is all, and love is everyone
It is knowing, it is knowing

[Verse 5]
That ignorance and hate may mourn the dead
Whoa, It is believing, yeah, it is believing, yeah
Come on!

[Verse 6]
But listen to the colour of your dreams
It is not living, it is not living
Ow, whoa yeah!

[Verse 7]
Or play the game "Existence" to the end
Of the beginning, of the beginning, yeah!
Of the beginning, the beginning, yeah!
Of the beginning, of the beginning, yeah!
Of the beginning, yeah! Of the beginning, yeah!
Yeah! Oh oh yeah!
Of the beginning, yeah, of the beginning, yeah!
Oh yeah! I'm free! Yeah-hah, yeah-hah, yeah-hah, yeah-hah!
Of the beginning, yeah, I said, of the beginning, yeah
Yeah!

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
