[Intro]
Hey, hey, hey, hey
I said ooh, ooh yeah
Ow

[Verse]
Won't you come see about me?
I'll be alone dancing, and you know it, baby
Tell me your troubles and doubts
Giving me everything inside and out
Love's strange, so real in the dark
Think of the tender things
That we were working on
Slow change may pull us apart
I'll get us back together at heart, baby

[Chorus]
Don't you forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you forget about me

[Bridge]
Will you stand above me?
Look my way and never love me
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling down (Down, down)
Would you recognize me?
Call my name or walk on by
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling down (Down, down)
Hey, hey, hey, hey
I said ooh, ooh yeah

[Verse 2]
Don't you try and pretend
It's my feeling
We'll win in the end
I won't harm you or touch your defenses
Vanity, insecurity

Now, don't you forget about me
I'll be alone dancing, and you know it, baby
Going to take you apart
I'll put us back together at heart, baby

[Chorus]
Don't you forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you forget about me

[Bridge]
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
As you walk on by

As you walk on by

[Outro]
Will you walk on by?
Will you walk away?
Come on, call my name
Come on, call my name
Will you call my name?
Yow!
I said (La, la, la, la....)

When you walk on by
Would you call my name?
As you walk on by
Would you call my name?
When you walk on by
Oh, yeah
Come on and call my name
When you walk on by
Baby, call my name
When you walk on by
Oh - Yow!
Would you call my name, name?
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yow....[fade]

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
