[Verse 1]
Day by day, hour by hour
What haunts my nighttime starts my daylight
Even good friends have no answers
Beautiful stars
(Ow) You don't want hard cash, just a few facts
Its use and abuse, you'd write your story
As work for playtime, time for love
My beautiful stars, beautiful stars

[Chorus]
Don't touch her, man
I want her over and over again
Don't touch her, man
I want her over and over again

[Verse 2]
Beautiful star in my daytime drama
When I ask the question for an answer
See you dancing, romancing what I want
My beautiful star, beautiful star (ow ow ow)

[Chorus]
Don't touch her, man
I want her over and over again
Don't touch her, man
I want her over and over and over and over
Oh..

[Verse 3]
Beautiful star of my daytime drama
Yes, it's in my hand now
You're my hope for a future
Beautiful star of my daytime drama
Love to win a boy[?]
You're my hope for a future
Some are happy
Some are amazed
Some are devoted
Some are saved
I was one, but I was saved
Again, again
Beautiful star of a daytime drama, yeah
....

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
