[Verse 1]
With a 180 miles
You can press my button to see
Faster than a Mach 5
I can make you bleed
I'm stealth and under cover
You don't even know I'm there
I can kill all of you
Better beware

[Chorus]
It's the dawn of a new future weapon
I'm after your soul
I'm after your soul
It's surprise speed and violence of action
I'm at the controls
Death at the controls

[Verse 2]
Higher than a mile
My weaponology
I can take you out, babe
With pinpoint accuracy
Riding in the raptor
Danger to the max
Shoot you if you're flying by
The power of my attack

[Chorus]
It's the dawn of a new future weapon
I'm after your soul
I'm after your soul
It's surprise speed and violence of action
I'm at the controls
Death at the controls
Ow

[Bridge]
Living in this desert, living in slime
The air you breath is a poisonous fire
The sounds you hear destroy the tune
The sounds you hear destroy the...
Woah yeah!

With a 180 miles
You can press my button to see
Faster than a Mach 5
I can make you bleed

[Chorus]
It's the dawn of a new future weapon
I'm after your soul
I'm after your soul
It's surprise speed and violence of action
I'm at the controls
Death at the controls

[Chorus]
It's the dawn of a new future weapon
I'm after your soul
I'm after your soul
It's surprise speed and violence of action
Well, I'm at the controls
Death at the controls

[Outro]
I'm at the controls
I'm after your soul, yeah
Ooh yeah
I'm at the controls
I'm after your soul

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
