[Intro]
Yeah, oh-oh-oh

[Verse 1]
I keep on running, keep on running
Keep on running, keep on running
I keep chasing your heart
But I'm always three steps behind
Yeah, I'm all alone, I'm on my own
Without your loving, without your loving
Baby, I, I chase love and die

[Pre-Chorus]
It's never ending, never ending
The sea sick feeling
What's the meaning?
Oh-oh-oh-oh
I just need a lifeline
(Yeah, hey)

[Chorus]
I'm running away, I'm running away
From this mess we made
I gotta find you, ooh, I gotta find you
Ooh, I gotta find you, ooh, I gotta find you
I'm chasing right behind you
I need to remind you
Oh, oh, I'm running away, I'm running away
I'm running away, I'm running away
Oh, from this mess I made

[Verse 2]
Oh, And I keep on running, keep on running
Can't see nothing, can't see nothing at all
And everything starts to revolve
I'm coming down, coming down
Just give me a sign, baby, just give me something
I, I just need you one last time

[Pre-Chorus]
It's never ending, never ending
All these feelings, staring at the ceiling
Hey-ey-ey
So I just put the car in drive
(Yeah, hey)

[Chorus]
I'm running away, I'm running away
From this mess we made
I gotta find you, ooh, I gotta find you
Ooh, I gotta find you, ooh, I gotta find you
I'm chasing right behind you
I need to remind you
Oh, oh, I'm running away, I'm running away
I'm running away, I'm running away
Oh, from this mess I made
(Yeah, hey)
I'm running away, I'm running away
From this mess we made
I gotta find you, ooh, I gotta find you
Ooh, I gotta find you, ooh, I gotta find you
I'm chasing right behind you
I need to remind you
Oh, oh, I'm running away, I'm running away
I'm running away, I'm running away
Oh, from this mess I made

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
