[Chorus]
Haha, you're basic, you're basic
Walk up in the spot like "Haha, you're basic"
You're basic, you're basic
All these broke bitches better face it

[Verse]
Me and basic bitches don't speak the same language
So I'm a translate it
Here's the bar, try and raise it
Here's a hundred ones, bitch save it
Chanel West Coast, I'm fuckin' famous
These bitches jaded, that's why I'm hated
I'm on your TiVo and you Spotify playlist
Live from Vegas, hi mom I made it
M's that is, I got mad friends with Benzes
I even wear a mink out in Texas
Couple racks, Gucci lenses
Makin' money on the backhand so my backhand expensive
Everything extented, Chanel he recommend it
Young mula representin', y'all still pretendin'
If this shit ain't trendin', don't be offended
But you're just so basic that I had to vent it (Ooh)

[Chorus]
Haha, you're basic, you're basic
Walk up in the spot like "Haha, you're basic"
You're basic, you're basic
Aall these broke bitches better face it

Haha, you're basic, you're basic
Walk up in the spot like "Haha, you're basic"
You're basic, you're basic
Aall these broke bitches better face it

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
