Following the shadows of the skies or are they only figments of my eyes?
And I'm feeling close to where the race is run
Waiting in our boats to set sail, sea of joy

Once the door swings open into space and I'm already waiting in disguise
Or is it just a thorn between my eyes?
Waiting in our boats to set sail, sea of joy

Having trouble coming through, through this concrete, blocks my view and it's all because of you...
Or is it just a thorn between my eyes?
Waiting in our boats to set sail, sea of joy

Blind Faith

Blind Faith was a supergroup formed in 1969, out of the remains of two other supergroups, Traffic and Cream.

Eric Clapton of Cream was jamming in his basement, with friend Steve Winwood of Traffic, both having just broken their previous acts. A visit from Cream’s Ginger Baker brought things together, bassist Ric Grech of Family proving the final component.

The act only stayed together for one album, which produced one long-lasting hit, Can’t Find My Way Home, and a lasting live performance go-to of both Clapton and Winwood in Presence of the Lord
