[Verse]
No I don't believe in luck
No I don't believe in circumstance no more
Accidents never happen in a perfect world
So I won't believe in luck
I saw you walking in the dark
So I slipped behind your footsteps for a while
Caught you turning round the block
Fancy meeting in a smaller world, after all

[Chorus]
Accidents never happen, could have planned it all
Precognition in my ears
Accidents never happen in a perfect world
Complications disappear

[Bridge]
Now you love me
I, yeah, I can tell
I never lied, I never cried
And you, you knew so well

Like the Magi on the hill
I can divinate your presence from afar
And I'll follow you until
I can bring you to a perfect world

[Chorus]

[Outro]
Accidents never happen in a perfect world
Accidents never happen
Accidents never happen in a perfect world
Accidents never happen

Blondie

Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-1970s. Their first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Over the next three years, the band achieved several hit singles including “Call Me”, “Atomic” and “Heart of Glass” and became noted for its eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of disco, pop, rap, and reggae, while retaining a basic style as a new wave band.
