Like a god cannot be
Drop all your strings down on me
More of them
They move our hearts possess
Their eyes stray apart

Then I found a sleeping giant in my bed
Not some fairytale or something that I’ve read
All in time, the missing stare
Light skin that travels far and while looking a time
Light skin

Live and wait never more I set you fee to be assured
All too soon frozen fire will put a glare on our hearts desire
Some say its better to let sleeping giants lie
I’m gonna get him up he’s in my beddie-bye

Then they look to appear to be my biggest fan
My skin that travels far and while looking at time

Call to arms from a favourite dream of stolen love and wicked sleep
Who was there to shout today with gods on this pomprous pray

Now my sleeping giant is awake
Sandman slinking out of hell in disgrace
Then they look to appear to be my biggest fan
My skin that travels far and while looking at time
Light skin, looking at time

Blondie

Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-1970s. Their first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Over the next three years, the band achieved several hit singles including “Call Me”, “Atomic” and “Heart of Glass” and became noted for its eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of disco, pop, rap, and reggae, while retaining a basic style as a new wave band.
