[Verse 1]
In another life
When the gods were crazy
And the measurement of time
Were the ending seasons
And maybe we believed
There was anger in the storm

Sometimes the Sky reminds me

And if you think that's wild
There's my dream of Egypt
And the colour of the Nile
You're a Roman Soldier
It's small world after all
But it's older than you think

[Pre-Chorus]
Sometimes your eyes remind me
Don't know why
I'll wait a lifetime till you find me
There are times

[Chorus]
Mmmm I've been this way before
Mmmm I'll come this way again
So many things remind me
So many things inside me

[Pre-Chorus]

[Chorus]

[Verse 2]
In another life
When the gods were crazy
And complaining all the time
And the people look at me
The volcano wants a bribe
And I'm still afraid of fire

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

Blondie

Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-1970s. Their first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Over the next three years, the band achieved several hit singles including “Call Me”, “Atomic” and “Heart of Glass” and became noted for its eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of disco, pop, rap, and reggae, while retaining a basic style as a new wave band.
