I think time and motion just stood still
I feel like the hours are there to kill
Now for the first time in my life
I am right where I wanna be
I'm closing the door on what I used to be
Now for the first time in my life

I have to hold on
The feelings too strong
I shake like a leaf, I tremble inside

It's gonna take all night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well
It's gonna take all night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well

Inside the room it's cold and dark
The nighttime won't sleep, till we give our hearts
Now for the first time in my life

I have to hold on
The feelings too strong
I shake like a leaf, I tremble inside

It's gonna take all night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well
It's gonna take all night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well

All night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well

Yeah, it's gonna take all night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well

All night to know you
All night to know you
All night to know you well

It's gonna take all night
All night
Gonna take all night to know you well

Yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah
All night to know you well

Yeah, all night
All night
All night to know you

All night to know you well

Bonnie Tyler

Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins) was born on June 8, 1951 in Skewen, Wales. She was one of the most famous singers in the 80’s and is known for her noticeably rough and husky vocals.

Her first single, charting at #9 in her home country, “Lost In France,” put her in the public eye. After a bit of silence throughout the late 70s and early 80s, her best-selling and best-performing single on the charts of all time, “Total Eclipse of The Heart,” was released. Her 5th album, Faster Than The Speed of Night, also topped the charts in a few countries possibly because it contained Total Eclipse. Another notable song, “Holding Out for a Hero,” was released one year later for the Footloose soundtrack.

Tyler married Robert Sullivan, an Olympic judo contestant in 1973. They have no children. As of 2018, she is 66 years old and still in good health.
