Well you should take it like a man
Take it just as I can
Don't complicate loves storyline baby
Just put you're hand in my hand
I'm gonna say it as it is
I may get hard to handle
Don't hesitate your waiting might make you late
Put your hand in my hand

(Refrain:)
Simply believe that I love you
Simply because it's true
Simply believe that I love you
Oh because I do

You ought to take it like a man
Take me just as I am
Reactivate the love that you once gave to me
Put you hand in my hand

Simply believe that I love you
Simply because it's true
Simply believe that I love you
Oh because I do

Simply believe that I love you
Simply because it's true
Simply believe that I love you
Oh because I do

Simply believe that I love you
Simply because it's true
Simply believe that I love you
Oh because I do

I may be hard to handle
But don't hesitate you might be too late
You ought to take it like a man
Take me just as I am
Don't complicate loves storyline baby
Put you're hand in my hand

Bonnie Tyler

Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins) was born on June 8, 1951 in Skewen, Wales. She was one of the most famous singers in the 80’s and is known for her noticeably rough and husky vocals.

Her first single, charting at #9 in her home country, “Lost In France,” put her in the public eye. After a bit of silence throughout the late 70s and early 80s, her best-selling and best-performing single on the charts of all time, “Total Eclipse of The Heart,” was released. Her 5th album, Faster Than The Speed of Night, also topped the charts in a few countries possibly because it contained Total Eclipse. Another notable song, “Holding Out for a Hero,” was released one year later for the Footloose soundtrack.

Tyler married Robert Sullivan, an Olympic judo contestant in 1973. They have no children. As of 2018, she is 66 years old and still in good health.
