[Verse 1]
I fell in love
On a very special day
This feeling will never go away
Now I can say
That with your love, I'll always stay
Look at me and tell me if I'm being deceived
Cause right now this feelin' is hard to believe

[Chorus]
Who would have thought it'd be this way?
Oh, no
I never thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day
Who would have thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day?

[Verse 2]
I can't believe
That you are right here with me
The star on my Christmas tree
I wanna love you endlessly
And that's the way I always want it to be (want it to be)
Standing there when the lights from the tree
Meets your eyes
I can see
That I only want you
'Cause you're all that I need

[Chorus]
Who would have thought it'd be this way?
Oh, no
I never thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day
Who would have thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day?

[Bridge]
I'd never fall in love on Christmas day
I never thought I'd fall in love
On Christmas, Christmas day I'd fall in love

[Chorus]
Who would have thought it'd be this way?
Oh, no
I never thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day
Who would have thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day?

[Outro]
I know that Christ came down
To endure my sins and shame
But now my dear we fall in love
On this very special day
This day
Do do do do do do do do do do do hey
Thought it'd be this way
Oh, no
I never thought I'd fall in love
I never thought I'd fall in love
Who would have thought I'd fall in love on Christmas day?

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
