[Intro: Girl & Mike]
Mike...
Yeah, baby
It's over
How can you say that?
I'm sorry. That love is gone
No, please don't leave me
Don't feel bad
How can I not feel bad. I love you
But, it's better this way
No. I don't believe this
No, baby

[Verse 1]
I never thought that it could be
You would turn and do this to me
I can feel the love that we had between us
Merely fade away
You told me you'd never go away
And for me you'd alway be her
Now you tell me that somethings wrong and you must move on

[Chorus]
Lonely heart is what I'll be
And no one cares for me
Let me show you now
The way that it would be if you were with me
Now I can feel the love we share
When you say it's not there
Deep inside I know that you still care
But I need you to show me now

[Verse 2]
I'm lookin' for a quiet place where love is free
And the dreams we shared last eternally
I feel now that it's the time
So won't you please come over here
The closer and the closer I get to you
Keeps me warm to know that you'll stay around
So please keep your promise to me and don't go

[Chorus]
Lonely heart is what I'll be
And no one cares for me
Let me show you now
The way that it would be if you were with me
Now I can feel the love we share
When you say it's not there
Deep inside I know that you still care
But I need you to show me now

[Bridge]
Let me show you now
The way that it would be if you were with me
Now I can feel the love we share
When you say it's not there
Deep inside I know that you still care
But I need you to show me now

[Chorus]
Lonely heart is what I'll be
And no one cares for me
Let me show you now
The way that it would be if you were with me
Now I can feel the love we share
When you say it's not there
Deep inside I know that you still care
But I need you to show me now...

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
