Songwriter: George Michael

I feel so unsure, as I take your hand
And lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind the silver screen
And all those sad goodbyes

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool

Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste this chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind, ignorance is kind
There's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm, no
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool, no, no

Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste this chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

We could have been so good together
We could have make this last forever
But now who's gonna dance with me?
Please stay, stay, stay, stay

I can't pretend no more
Know you're not a fool to cheat a friend
The way I danced with, I'm never gonna dance
I'm never gonna dance again
Never gonna dance again
