Producer: Brian McKnight

[Intro]
No, I didn't
No, I didn't

[Verse 1: Brian McKnight]
First things first, I'll interject
What's on your mind? You seem upset
It's like I told you, get a hold of yourself
It was good if that's alright
'Twas no ordinary night until the dawn

[Pre-Chorus: Brian McKnight]
But now I see that in hindsight
I really should've held back
I blame it on the moonlight, no doubt
I swear on the star light

[Chorus: Brian McKnight]
I really didn't mean to turn you out
I really didn't mean to turn you out
I didn't really mean to turn you out
I really didn't mean to turn you out

[Verse 2: Brian McKnight, Jr.]
Now I know it sounds unkind
But let me help slow down your mind
Girl, I assure you this wasn't in my plans
Just guess timing knew us best
But we run out, there's nothing left except this song

[Pre-Chorus: Brian McKnight, Jr.]
And now I see that in hindsight
I really should've held back
I blame it on the moonlight, no doubt
I swear on the star light

[Chorus: Brian McKnight, Jr.]
I really didn't mean to turn you out
I really didn't mean to turn you out
I really didn't mean to turn you out
I really didn't mean to turn you out
