Songwriter: The Bug Christopher John Thorn

[Verse 1]
I spent half of my life, in a rock-n-roll van
Half of the time alive, most of time dead
Had one too many times of whisky, one too many times
But you people keep on giving, and I keep on doing time

[Chorus]
Yes I've seen so many faces
Seen a couple of thousands of towns
And I made it to the peep bay
But it's all downhill from here now

[Verse 2]
More than once, I lost direction
More than once lost track of time
Like runnin' in these circles, gonna change my fuckin' mind
They say "The harder they come, harder they fall"
Well, I hit pretty hard beat, still breathin' from it all

[Chorus]
Yes I've seen so pretty faces
Seen one too many clowns
But the circus keeps on runnin'
It's all downhill from here now

[Bridge]
Ooh, I can see so clearly now, here
Is there past tents I'm leavin' town babe?
Oh, now downhill from here now babe
Now downhill from here now
Baby, I said it's all downhill from here now

[Guitar Solo]

[Chorus]
Yes I've seen so pretty faces
Seen one too many clowns
But the circus keeps on runnin'
It's all downhill from here now

[Post-Chorus]
Ooh, I can see so clearly now, here
Is there past tents I'm leavin' town babe?
Oh, now downhill from here now, Oh
Oh, now downhill from here now, Oh
Baby, I said it's all downhill from here now

Candlebox

A very underrated band from Seattle, but was a little late to the grunge scene. Success wasn’t easy for them as all of the bands at that time in Seattle were growing and getting huge, most said they would get ignored. The group formed in 1990 and released their first studio album in 1993 self-titled.
