You tripped me up
I lost my breath
I'd been this close, Lord only knows, but I'd never missed a step
You turned it up
This fire burning in me
I can see that there's love in your eyes, and baby, I can't speak
I can see that there's love in your eyes, and baby, I can't speak

I believe in singing 'bout you and I
I believe in us singin' our song, and dancing by moonlight
I believe there's something 'bout you and I
I believe we love singin' that song, and we're dancing on through the night

You tripped me up
Baby I never fall
I missed that step, I lost my breath, and kept going down
You turned it up
This fire burnin' inside
Oh it's all that I ever want, baby, and it ain't never gonna die
Oh it's all that I ever want, baby, and it ain't never gonna die

I believe they're singin' 'bout you and I
I believe in us singin' our song, we're dancin' by moonlight
I believe there's something 'bout you and I
I believe we love singin' this song, and dancin' on through the night

Your love, the drug, I need to score, I get so high on you
I caught the buzz when I hit the floor, it's just the way you do
And I know if I leave I won't get what I need, there's just so much of you
If I take everything like I want, what's that leave? It's just the way I do
It's just the way I do

You tripped me up
You tripped me up
You tripped me up
You tripped me up
You tripped me up
You tripped me up
You tripped me up

Candlebox

A very underrated band from Seattle, but was a little late to the grunge scene. Success wasn’t easy for them as all of the bands at that time in Seattle were growing and getting huge, most said they would get ignored. The group formed in 1990 and released their first studio album in 1993 self-titled.
