[Verse 1: Chris Brown]
See I've been to a place, called Hell on Earth
Where your body's the same, but your heart really burns
And that kinda pain, it's more like a curse
Ayy-ayy, ayy-ayy, yeah
I was down on the ground and the tears wouldn't come
Could not make a sound, my voice wouldn't budge
Nobody around, they assumed I was done
Ayy-ayy, ayy-ayy, yeah

[Pre-Chorus: Chris Brown, with Claude Kelly]
Just swear to God, swear to God, close my eyes
Kiss my chance at love goodbye
Here comes hope like a ray of light
It was your fantasy

[Chorus: Chris Brown, with Claude Kelly]
Oh
You ain't gotta climb this mountain alone
Just take my hand and I'll wait for you when you can't be strong
The worst part is over
The worst part is over
I'm here to hold you
The worst part is over

[Verse 2: Chris Brown]
See the measure of love, it ain't when you're up
It's 'bout who sticks around when you can't see the sun
You've proven to be, someone I can trust
Ayy-ayy, ayy-ayy, yeah

[Pre-Chorus: Chris Brown, with Claude Kelly]
Just swear to God, swear to God, close my eyes
Kiss my chance at love goodbye
Here comes hope like a ray of light
It was your fantasy

[Chorus: Chris Brown, with Claude Kelly]
Oh
You ain't gotta climb this mountain alone
Just take my hand and I'll wait for you when you can't be strong
The worst part is over
The worst part is over
I'm here to hold you
The worst part is over

[Bridge: Chris Brown]
You're that little bit of faith when I'm givin' up (Givin' up)
You're that little boost of strength when I'm against the wall (Against the wall)
And everywhere you show
Is the definition of love
Because you let me know

[Chorus: Chris Brown, with Claude Kelly]
Oh
You ain't gotta climb this mountain alone (Gotta, oh-oh)
Just take my hand and I'll wait for you when you can't be strong (I'll wait for you when you can't be strong)
The worst part is over (The worst part is over)
The worst part is over (The worst part is over)
I'm here to hold you (Here to hold you, yeah, yeah)
The worst part is over (The worst part is over)

[Outro: Chris Brown]
See I've been to a place, called Hell on Earth
But that part is over
