The lights are on, but you're not home
Your mind, is not your own
Your heart sweats, your body shakes
Another kiss is what it takes
You can't sleep, you can't eat
There's no doubt, you're in deep
Your throat is tight, you can't breath
Another kiss, is all you need
You'd like to think that you're immune
To stare, oh yeah
It's closer to the truth to say you can't get it
You're gonna have to face it you're addicted to love

You're throath is tight, you can't breath
Running at, a different speed
You're heart beats, double time
Another kiss, and you'll be mine
A one track mind, you can't be saved
Oblivion, is all you crave
Is there a song, for you
You don't mind, if you do
You got to think that you're immune
To stuff, oh yeah
It's closer to the truth to say you can't get it, noooo
You're gonna have to face it you're addicted to love

Might as well face it, you're addicted to love (6x)

The lights are on, but you're not home
Your will, is not your own
Your heart sweats, your teeth grind
Another kiss and you'll be mine
You got to think that you're immune
To stuff, oh yeah
It's closer to the truth to say you can't get it, noooo
Face it you're addicted to love

Might as well face it, you're addicted to love (8x)

Ciccone Youth

Ciccone Youth is basically an ironic, deranged experimental/noise/pop/new-wave project from members of Sonic Youth, featuring Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis and Minutemen’s Mike Watt on one track each. They merge typical 80s mainstream instrumentation such as beatboxes and samplers with experimental tuning, tape loops and noise sections more common in SY’s albums. Whether it is a joke, or a homage for their pop contemporaries (or something in-between) is up for debate.

They released one LP and a single between 1986 and 1989, including a couple of Madonna covers and a Robert Palmer cover. The project’s name is a reference to Madonna’s last name.
