Elton John and Bernie wrote that song in the 70's named "Daniel". Daniel is about a Vietnam vet who was blinded in the war, and is commended for being a Hero, so is sent home. His younger brother is the one supposedly singing about his heroic brother. He is called a hero and his brother wants him to stay home, and has missed him,but Daniel does not consider himself a hero at all. He simply wants to be left alone, so takes off to Spain. It was sort of dedicated to all the crippled and damaged men in the Vietnam War. Very sad song. Read more on Last.fm.

All right. Now we somehow got to get in the right frame of mind for the next song. So perhaps a collective deep breath from everybody. And a little bit of atmosphere

Number nine. Number nine…

Every mountain come. Am I even over my… Magic still to come. I am in over my head. There’s something still to come. I’m almost inside… Is it time? I think it is…

We sing this song at the end of the show quite a lot. But it’s only when we’re in Melbourne that it has true rhythms

Somewhere deep inside. Something's got a hold on you. And it's pushing me aside. See it stretch on forever

I know I'm right, for the first time in my life. That's why I tell you. You'd better be home soon

Stripping back the coats of lies and deception. Back to nothingness, like a week in the desert

I know I'm right, for the first time in my life. That's why I tell you. You'd better be home soon

So don't say no. Don't say nothing's wrong. ‘Cause when you get back home, maybe I'll be gone
It would cause me pain, if we were to end it. But I could start again. You can depend on it. Ooh…

I know I'm right, for the first time in my life. That's why I tell you. You'd better be home soon. Ooh.. That's why I tell you. You'd better be home soon

Goodnight Melbourne, live in hope. See ya!
