"Reach" is a song by Gloria Estefan, released as a single on April 2, 1996. Co-written with Diane Warren and taken from the official Atlanta 96 album Rhythm of the Games, it later featured on Destiny, which is Estefan's seventh studio album. "Reach" was one of two official songs of the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta in 1996. It was written by Gloria Estefan and Diane Warren. The song was nominated to a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the ceremony at 1997, but she lost out to Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart". Read more on Last.fm.

Shante Scott Franklin AKA Spitta or Curren$y was born April 4, 1981 in New Orleans, LA. Originally, Spitta was signed to Master P’s label “No Limit Records” and was a member of the 504 Boyz, lead by Master P. The name of the group was in reference to the area code in which they resided. Their most popular song, “Wobble Wobble” peaked at number 17 in the U.S.

However, in 2004, Curren$y signed with Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment, founded by Lil Wayne. Later leaving that, Curren$y is currently signed under Warner Bros. Music Group and has started his own imprint, “Jet Life Records”.

To date, Curren$y has released five studio albums, the most successful being the most recent, “The Stoned Immaculate” which peaked at number eight in the U.S. He has also released two collaboration albums, “Jet World Order”, and it’s sequel, “Jet World Order 2” with other members of Jet Life Records.
