There's a struggle going on
It's everywhere
There's a need to be free
It's in the air
There's a cry out for justice
It's growing strong
And it's got everyone knowing
There's something wrong

Oh
What we need is a lot more love
Oh
What we want is a lot more world peace
Oh
What we need is a lot more unity
Oh
What we want is a lot more equality
For you and me

There's an arms race going on
No one can win
War is still the biggest business
Profits from sin

They are children who are starving
And so few of us care
They're learning less
But getting higher from junk in their heads

Oh
What we need is a lot more love
Oh
What we want is a lot more world peace
Oh
What we need is a lot more unity
Oh
What we want is a lot more equality
For you and me
For you and me

Ooh-ooh...
Uh-huh
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh...
Uh-huh
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh...
Uh-huh...
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh...
Uh-huh...

Oh
What we need is a lot more love
Oh
What we want is a lot more world peace
Oh
What we need is a lot more unity
Oh
What we want is a lot more equality
For you and me

For you and me
For you and me
For you and me
Save the children, uh-huh
For you and me
For you and me...
