Some people feel it all around them
Others feel it inside
Some people spend a lifetime searching
For a rhythm denied

Life's music
Can make you happy
Life's music
Can make you want to cry
Don't ask me why

It's not another song
It belongs to me
It's not another song
It's my melody

You can let trouble
Strum on your heartstrings
Or let them blow in the wind
I'll write another happy love song

When I feel it again
Life's music can take you real low
Life's music can take you up real high
Don't ask me why

It's not another song
It belongs to me
It's not another song
It's my melody
