How would you like to come home with me?
How would you like to be mine?
How would you like me to love you forever?
Puppy, I'll treat you just fine

You look cold and wet
I'll bet you haven't eaten yet
You look so lost and alone
I'll bet you haven't got a home
What you gonna do?

How would you like to come home with me?
How would you like to be mine?
How would you like me to love you forever?
Puppy, I'll treat you just fine

Now, tell me, what's your name?
And would you like to be my very best friend?
And if you feel the same way too
I'll dedicate my life to you
Making you happy

How would you like to come home with me?
How would you like to be mine?
How would you like me to love you forever?
Puppy, I'll treat you just fine
Puppy, I'll treat you just fine

Now, tell me, what's your name?
Ruff!
Oh, that's a nice name
Mine's Eddie
Nice to meet you

Hmm hmm hmm hmm, hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm
Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm...
