Why does corn grow?
Why does it snow?
Why is grass green?
Why do I dream?

Why, why, why, why, why?
Keeps going through my mind
I keep asking questions
'Cause I like the answers

Why do birds sing?
Why do bells ring?
Why do stars shine?
And why are bats blind?

Why, why, why, why, why?
Keeps going through my mind
I keep asking questions
'Cause I like the answers

Why's the sun round?
Why don't fish drown?
Why do cows moo? (Moo)
Why's the sky blue?

Why, why, why, why, why?
Keeps going through my mind
I keep asking questions
'Cause I like the answers
Yes, I like the answers
Oh, I keep asking questions
'Cause I like the answers

Why does rain fall?
Why do cats purr?
Why do planes fly?
Why?
