[Verse 1]
You said you loved me and then you left
Broke every promise, you won every bet
You'll never miss your water till your well runs dry

[Chorus]
Tell me, tell me, what you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
I'd like to know what you going to do when your well runs dry?

[Verse 2]
Listen to me, darling, you cheat and you lie
How you come a-running, running, wanting a second try
You'll never miss your water till your well runs dry

[Chorus]
Tell me, tell me, what you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
I'd like to know what you going to do when your well runs dry?

[Verse 3]
Sat down and I sighed and I heard you packing
But you said nothing and I watch you pass me by
I know you're gonna miss me, you're gonna be so blue

[Chorus]
Tell me, tell me, what you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your feeling blue?
I'd like to know what you going to do when your feeling so blue?

[Bridge]
You'll never miss your water till your well runs dry

[Chorus]
Tell me, tell me, what you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
I'd like to know what you going to do when your well runs dry?
I'd like to know what you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
What you going to do when your well runs dry?
