[Woman]
Like that?
[Producer]
Good idea
[Woman]
Give it a try. Amy, can you do it again?
[Amy]
Yeah. One, two, ta-ka, ka-to

[Band Member]
Roll it!

[Producer]
You know what else could be cool at the very end is if you just do exactly what you just did with the single note but an octave lower
Like, like, like imagine the band sort of

[Amy]
Do we do the chorus fast?
[Producer]
Yeah

[Amy]
Yeah right
That sounds nice
Just that?
More than

[Producer]
Like kinda retard it a little bit
[Amy]
Got it!

[Amy]
Yeah right
[Band member]
So that comes in after we stop
[Producer]
Yeah
[Amy]
That sounds nice
[Producer]
Like exactly like
[Amy]
La la la la

[Amy]
Just like change the voice things
[Producer]
Right
[Amy]
So it's more interesting
[Producer]
Yes cool

Evanescence

Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. Evanescence was originally promoted in Christian stores. Later, the band made it clear they did not want to be considered part of the Christian rock genre, like fellow Wind-up Records artists Creed. Some of their most popular hits “Bring Me to Life,” “My Immortal,” and “What You Want.”

In 2014, the band parted ways with their long-term record label Wind-Up and became independent artists. In late 2016, they released a Ultimate Collection box set featuring all their albums along with the 2000 demo album Origin and a B-sides compilation Lost Whispers.

In November 2017, they released their fourth album, Synthesis, featuring a reimagining of some of their past songs plus two new original songs with the spotlight on full orchestra and electronics.
