[Verse 1]
If I could turn the world to a melody
I think so many troubles would cease to be
If I could bottle the rhythm of a beating heart
Maybe we could come together more than we fall apart

[Pre-Chorus]
Everyone has struggles
But when we black the music out they seem to double
So

[Chorus]
Turn it up
Join the chord
Go tell the doctor
That it heals your soul
Share the love
Make a joyful noise
Dance to the music
At the corner store

[Post-Chorus]
La la la la la la la la
Make a joyful noise
La la la la la la la la

[Verse 2]
If I could capture the feeling of a mother’s sigh
Maybe so many others would sympathize
If I could be the man you see in me
Maybe I could be the one to plant the seed

[Pre-Chorus]
Everyone has struggles
But when we black the music out they seem to double
So

[Chorus]
Turn it up
Join the chord
Go tell the doctor
That it heals your soul
Share the love
Make a joyful noise
Dance to the music
At the corner store

[Post-Chorus]
La la la la la la la la
Make a joyful noise
La la la la la la la la

[Bridge x2]
Dance all night
Find your courage
Dance all night
Treat yourself

[Outro]
Shake off your worries
You’ve got to free yourself

Shake off your worries
You’ve got to free yourself

Dance to the music
Dance to the music
Dance to the music
Make a joyful noise

Dance to the music
Dance to the music
Dance to the music
Make a joyful noise

Dance to the music
Dance to the music
Dance to the music
Make a joyful noise

With 20+ years under their belts as a band, brothers Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson have definitely made their mark! Five years building a fanbase as an independent band led to a meteoric rise in 1997 as they released their first commercial single, “MMMBop,” from their debut album Middle of Nowhere. The catchy, bubblegum pop appeal of the song helped make the band a household name.

A long line of hits and studio albums, multiple Grammy nominations and over 16 million album sales worldwide followed.

The band now runs an independent label while maintaining a “coveted connection with their global fanbase.”
