[Verse 1: Jagged Edge]
Roll up at the spot, I seen her had to meet her
I was at the bar, sippin' and I'm leanin'
I just had to get attention, but didn't wanna mention
How she just wasn't lookin' and this ain't what I'm feelin'
Now, movin' on, to a bar, half hour later
And now she's my girl, and I knew I wasn't playin' and it's
Better than a friendship, it's kinda like my pension
'Cause I'm savin' all my funds up
And I'ma spend it long, long, long

[Chorus: Jagged Edge]
She keep me spinnin' like the blades on my rims and (Keep me spinnin', girl)
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in and (Can't trade her in)
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64 (Not for nothin', yeah, yeah)
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show (Ooh)
She keep me spinnin' like the blades on my rims and (You should know)
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in and (I can't trade her in)
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64 (Up and down like a '64)
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show (Oh)

[Post-Chorus: Jagged Edge]
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh

[Verse 2: Jagged Edge]
She's my movie star and I'm her director
Sweat in the car, driving as fast as we can go
She could be all on me, kissin' me, touchin' me
And I don't wanna stop right now, she don't wanna stop neither
She's a sexy girl, shaped like a Coke bottle
Or a fancy car, the prototype model
She got curves in all the right spots, keep my engine runnin' hot
I don't wanna slow it down, I'ma let her go

[Chorus: Jagged Edge]
She keep me spinnin' like the blades on my rims and (Yeah, yeah)
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in and (Can't trade her in)
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64 (Like a '64, yeah)
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show (The way you make me spin)
She keep me spinnin' like the blades on my rims and (And I love how you make me spin now)
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in and (Oh-oh, woah)
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64 (Up and down like a '64, yeah)
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show (Keep me runnin' hot like a car show)

[Post-Chorus: Jagged Edge]
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh (Keep me runnin' hot like a car show)
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh

[Verse 3: Big Boi]
Now get my damn trophy
'Cause the way she's movin' like chest and checker
Black, white, any color, gotta respect her
Double-decker flat, yeah, body gotta protect her
Together weather the storm so things get better, never
Fall to the waist, I grace, I'd cry
Lifeless, lemme add some color to that shine
I like this, bitin', ******', all of this for nothin'
Shoulda got an old school or somethin'
Some old fools mumblin', that's what we becomin'
See, you used to be comin' when your engine was runnin'
Now tinted love lovin', and you ain't that woman
Mmm, damn, I hate that frontin'
And I ain't just bumpin', just in case you was wonderin'
Was one in a million, now you one in a hundred
I done done it
Done done it, I done done it, I done done it

[Bridge: Jagged Edge]
Up and down like a '64 (Yeah)
Party bumpin', hydro (Yeah)
Droppin' tops and way more (Yeah)
Hot like car show (Oh)
Y'all know how we do (Oh)
Keep it true, no see-through (Come on)
Now I gotta roll it (Come on)
And we 'bout to roll
Up and down like a '64 (Oh, yeah)
Party bumpin', hydro (Yeah)
Droppin' tops and way more
Hot like car show (Y'all know how we do)
Y'all know how we do (Yeah)
Keep it true, no see-through
Now I gotta roll it (Gotta roll)
And we 'bout to roll (And we rollin')
Up, up, up, up, ooh (Oh-oh-oh)
She keep me spinnin' like them blades on my rims, man
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in, man
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show (She keeps me spinnin')
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh (Baby, can I ride with you?)
(Yeah)
Ride, ride, ride, ride
Feels so good
Said she keeps me spinnin'

[Chorus: Jagged Edge]
She keep me spinnin' like the blades on my rims and (Ooh)
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in and (Ooh)
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64 (Said she got my body runnin' so hot)
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show (Got my body runnin' so hot)
She keep me spinnin' like the blades on my rims and (Ooh)
She keep me with it, so I can't trade her in and
She keep it bumpin' up and down like a '64
She keep my engine runnin' hot like a car show

Jagged Edge

Jagged Edge are an American R&B group consisting of Richard Wingo, Kyle Norman, and identical twins Brian Casey and Brandon Casey. The group formed in Atlanta in 1995 after Brian and Brandon met Kyle “through church activities.” Richard was the last member to join the group with an assist from Xscape’s Kandi, who was responsible for slipping Jermaine Dupri the group’s demo, and ultimately landing them a record deal with So So Def Recordings.

Jagged Edge’s best-selling album is their sophomore, January 2000 album, J.E. Heartbreak which is certified 2x Platinum. The album also produced two of the group’s best-known singles, “Let’s Get Married” and “Promise.”

In a January 2016 interview with Billboard, Brandon revealed how the group adopted their name,
