[Intro]
B-side
This is a song about
Summertime
(Cool summer yeah cool summer)
May it never end, may it never end
(Feeling goes on, cool summer, feeling goes on, feeling goes on)
This is a summer of love and the love will go
(On and on and on and on)

I'm not gonna stop, no
I don't wanna stop, no
I'm not gonna stop, no ooh
(Come on, the beat don't stop 'til the break of dawn)
I'm not gonna stop, no
I don't wanna stop, no
I'm not gonna stop, no ooh

[Chorus]
And this feeling goes on and on and on and on and on
And my loving goes on and on and on and on and on
(Come on, come on, come on, come on)

[Verse 1]
Ooh, what a feeling
What a feeling
Gotta keep this going
I got the top down
Sun is beaming as I'm thinking about you
Never will you stop this love that you feel
And I'll do the same with you every day
I will always be right here by your side
I don't want nobody else

[Chorus]
And this feeling goes on and on and on and on and on
And my loving goes on and on and on and on and on

[Post-Chorus]
(Come on, the beat don't stop 'til the break of dawn)
I'm not gonna stop, no
I don't wanna stop, no
I'm not gonna stop, no ooh
(The beat don't stop 'til the break of dawn)

[Verse 2]
Ooh, what a feeling
Got me smiling
As I'm dreaming about you
Oh, you're my baby
So believe me when I tell ya
Never will I stop this love that I feel
And you do the same each and every day
I will always be right here by your side
I don't want nobody else

[Chorus]
And this feeling goes on and on and on and on and on
And my loving goes on and on and on and on and on
And this feeling goes on and on and on and on and on
And my loving goes on and on and on and on and on

[Bridge]
Feel it
Yeah
Top down
Just coolin'
Summertime

Feeling goes on
Feeling goes on
Feeling goes on
(Come on, the beat don't stop 'til the break of dawn)
Damn, this is a long song
(Come on, the beat don't stop 'til the break of dawn)

[Chorus]
And this feeling goes on and on and on and on and on
And my loving goes on and on and on and on and on
Feeling goes on and on and on and on and on

[Outro]
I'm not gonna stop, no
I don't wanna stop, no
I'm not gonna stop, no ooh
I'm not gonna stop, no
I don't wanna stop, no
I'm not gonna stop, no ooh

Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson is an iconic R&B/pop artist who has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has amassed a number of awards in her illustrious music career.

Born in Gary, Indiana on May 16, 1966, Janet is the youngest of the Jackson family, who rose to prominence a few years after her birth when they signed with Motown Records. Janet joined the family business when she appeared on The Jacksons variety show in 1976, leading to her role as Penny Gordon in Season 5 of the CBS sitcom Good Times. She released two overlooked albums in the early 1980s—Janet Jackson (1982) and Dream Street (1984)—and continued to act during this time, appearing in Diff'rent Strokes and Fame.

The legend of Janet was created after she connected with the legendary Minneapolis production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to work on her seminal third album, Control. Control and her following album, 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814, featured several #1 pop hits and made her a worldwide superstar. The trio would go on work on Janet’s subsequent hit albums, including janet., The Velvet Rope, as well as her 2015 comeback album, Unbreakable.
