[Verse 1]
Sittin' over here
Starin' in your face
With a lust in my eyes
Sure I don't give a damn and ya
Don't know that I've been dreamin' of ya in
My fantasies
Never once you looked at me
Don't even realize that I'm wantin' you
To fulfill my needs
Think what you want
Let your mind free
Run free to a place no one dares to

[Pre-Chorus]
How many night I've laid in bed excited over you
I've closed my eyes and thought of us a hundred different ways
I've gotten there so many times I wonder how 'bout you
Day and night, night and day
All I've got to say is...

[Chorus]
If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

[Verse 2]
Allow me some time to play with your mind
And you'll get there again and again, close your eyes
And imagine my body undressed
Take your time 'cause we've got all night, oooh
You on the rise as you're touchin' my thighs and
Let me know what you like
If you like I'll go
Down da down down down da down down
I'll hold you in my hands and baby

[Pre-Chorus]
You're smooth and shiny
Feels so good against my lips, sugar
I want you so bad
I can taste your love right now baby
Day and night, night and day
All I've got to say is

[Chorus]
If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

Down da down down down da down down... (Repeated)

[Pre-Chorus]
I've laid in bed excited over you
One hundred different way I've thought ya
Many, many
(Day and night, night and day)
All I've got to say is

[Chorus]
If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

If I was your girl
Oh, the things I'd do to you
I'd make you call out my name
I'd ask who it belongs to
If I was your woman
The things I'd do to you
But I'm not
So I can't
Then I won't
But, if I was your girl

Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson is an iconic R&B/pop artist who has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has amassed a number of awards in her illustrious music career.

Born in Gary, Indiana on May 16, 1966, Janet is the youngest of the Jackson family, who rose to prominence a few years after her birth when they signed with Motown Records. Janet joined the family business when she appeared on The Jacksons variety show in 1976, leading to her role as Penny Gordon in Season 5 of the CBS sitcom Good Times. She released two overlooked albums in the early 1980s—Janet Jackson (1982) and Dream Street (1984)—and continued to act during this time, appearing in Diff'rent Strokes and Fame.

The legend of Janet was created after she connected with the legendary Minneapolis production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to work on her seminal third album, Control. Control and her following album, 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814, featured several #1 pop hits and made her a worldwide superstar. The trio would go on work on Janet’s subsequent hit albums, including janet., The Velvet Rope, as well as her 2015 comeback album, Unbreakable.
