[Verse 1]
You know the flow is like Hosanna Hosanna
Congressional Medal of Honor
Put you over seas and cut the check to your momma
True gentleman, please Kate Middleton, ring me on the dog and bone, when you bored with William
His lineage don't even go back four millenniums
The Black Moors is back baby we on ten again
Kush in the jacket, walking out of Hackett's
Spotted me an address so I walked her to the mattress
Pornstars AVN Awards, cinematrix
Uh-huh, and you looking real pretty though
We can take a few flicks, just no video
To tag me on facebook, and upload to Vimeo
Peep the Tumblr
I'm carrying the Roc and I know it was a fumble, we just laugh at you thadunda
You could pay for school, but can't buy class
You said you rocking diamonds, then you can't buy the glass

[Verse 2]
Its a Roc Nation Jay Electronic-extravaganza
The fans need an oxygen mask for every stanza
Cuz it don't matter if Black or Anglo Saxon
You see a holy El gliding across the stage with icy gloves and socks on
You'll be crying baby Jesus tears in your popcorn
Call the Ghostbusters up, tell em we got one, the keymaster returneth
Escape from the fiery furnace, niggas don't concern us
Uh-uh, what's your name, what's your sign
Soon as you try and shine, hater creep up from behind
The Vatican preaches Jesus then they creep up with the swine
And enslave the people of God and have them sweep up at the shrine
Don't get it twisted though, you can call me a rapper
You can call me an actor, you should call me a master
You could call me a taxi cab to the Royal Sonesta
I never let a screwface heckle spoil the lecture, no

Jay Electronica

Timothy Elpadaro Thedford (born September 19, 1976), better known by his stage name Jay Electronica, is an American rapper and record producer. He is from New Orleans, Louisiana and currently based in London, United Kingdom.

Electronica first gained significant attention after the release of the musical composition Act Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge), which was made available on a MySpace page in 2007 and has been called a “timeless classic” by Vice Magazine. It is fifteen continuous minutes of music, without drums, built from Jon Brion’s soundtrack to the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. In late 2009 he released two singles, both produced by Just Blaze, “Exhibit A” and “Exhibit C”, the latter of which won a Sucker Free Summit Award for Instant Classic. In November 2010, it was announced Jay Electronica had signed to hip hop mogul Jay Z’s Roc Nation record label.

More than a decade after his last project, What the Fuck is a Jay Electronica, and almost exactly eight years to the DAY after he reportedly finished and turned in his album, Jay Electronica finally released his debut studio album A Written Testimony on March 13, 2020. The album features Jay-Z on eight of its ten tracks, leading some to label it a collab album between the two Jays. The-Dream also makes three appearances, and even Travis Scott makes a surprising appearance on “The Blinding.”
