Down to the alley and across the track
I  ain't a-gonna promise that you'll wanna come back
Whoa  oh there's a little ol' house a-painted green
Whoa oh but it's the swinginest joint that you ever seen
Come on come with me oh I betcha gonna like it just you wait and see

Run  by a cat named one-eyed Joe
He  says better to see ya when ya walk through the door
Whoa oh he sells pig feet chitlins and a black-eyed peas
Mhmm  but that's the kinda eatin' that'll have you crawlin' on your knees
Come on go with me oh I betcha gonna like it just you wait and see now

Yeah they got a man on a way out saxophone
The piano player's got a style of his own
Whoo  hoo the drummer and the bass Lord they kick like a mule
Just have a good time is the only house rule
Whoa come on come with me oh I betcha gonna like it just you wait and see

Oh yeah come on come on
Whoo hoo brrrrr yeah shake it baby

Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis was a leading figure in the popularization of rock & roll during the 1950s. He was first signed to Sun Records in 1956 where he was labelmates with Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and other early rock artists. Of those musicians, however, he was the only piano player and combined with his heavy-handed playing style, sexually suggestive lyrics, and provocative stage antics he came to epitomize the rebelliousness of the genre.

He rose to international fame for his 1957 versions of the songs “Great Balls of Fire” and “Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On.”

Lewis' popularity rapidly tumbled, however, when in 1958, when at the age of 22, he married his 13-year-old cousin. Though this scandal continued to tarnish his image, Lewis never retired from music. As of October 2015, he continues to perform live.
