Floor is shaking with a jukebox
And everybody's singin' "yeah, yeah, yeah!"
Do you love me baby; do you think I'm out of sight?
Mama rolls, but she don't roll right

The town is burning with a heat wave
The weather forecast keeps saying "fine, fine, fine!"
Do you love me baby; do you think I'm out of sight?
Mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right

The floor is shaking with a ol' jukebox
And everybody's singin' "yeah, yeah, yeah!"
Do you love me baby; do you think I'm out of sight?
Mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right
Yeah!

The ol' town is burning with the heat wave
Y'know the forecast keeps saying "fine!"
Do you love me you good lookin' woman?
You're out of sight
Mama rolls, but she don't roll all night
Yeah, get it son!
Oh!

Oh, the whole town is burning up with the heat wave
The weather forecast keeps saying "a-fine, fine, fine!"
Do you love me baby; do you think the Killer's out of sight?
Y'know, mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right

Oh!

The floor is shaking with a jukebox
And everybody is singin' "yeah, yeah, yeah!"
Do you love me baby; a-do you think I'm out of sight?
Well, mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right

Yeah, mama, she rolls, but she don't roll right

Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis was a leading figure in the popularization of rock & roll during the 1950s. He was first signed to Sun Records in 1956 where he was labelmates with Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and other early rock artists. Of those musicians, however, he was the only piano player and combined with his heavy-handed playing style, sexually suggestive lyrics, and provocative stage antics he came to epitomize the rebelliousness of the genre.

He rose to international fame for his 1957 versions of the songs “Great Balls of Fire” and “Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On.”

Lewis' popularity rapidly tumbled, however, when in 1958, when at the age of 22, he married his 13-year-old cousin. Though this scandal continued to tarnish his image, Lewis never retired from music. As of October 2015, he continues to perform live.
