[Intro: K-Ci]
Oh, oh, oh, oh yeah

[Verse 1: K-Ci]
It's been so long
Since I touched a lady
And I'm still waiting
For you to come back to me, baby
Now will you forgive me
For the wrong I've done?
And let's try again
To make it last so long

[Chorus: Jodeci]
I'm still waiting
For you to come back to love
To fulfill this life we're dreaming of
(So don't wait)
Another day might be too long
(Don`t rush)
Go slow so nothing goes wrong

[Post-Chorus: K-Ci]
Listen, baby
Whoa, oh oh, oh oh

[Verse 2: K-Ci]
I can't wait to feel your love again
'Cause you can stop this pain
That I've been feeling, baby (Ooh yeah)
So let's start all over
And put the past behind
And make a love to stand
To the test of time

[Chorus: Jodeci, K-Ci]
I'm still waiting
(I'm still waiting, baby)
For you to come back to love
(You know it's been so long)
To fulfill this life, yeah
We`re dreaming of
(And these feelings are so very strong)
Another day might be too long
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Go slow so nothing goes wrong

[Bridge: K-Ci, Jodeci]
I just can't take it no more, baby
No, baby
The feel of your warm embrace, baby
Ooh yeah, I'm still waiting on you, yeah

[Chorus: Jodeci, K-Ci]
I`m still waiting
(I'm still waiting, baby)
For you to come back to love
(Oh, yes, I am)
To fulfill this life
(That we'll be dreaming of)
We`re dreaming of
(So baby, please, don't wanna wait, baby, baby)
Another day might be too long
(My arms are open wide)
Go slow so nothing goes wrong
(And I don't have to cry no more because)

[Bridge: Jodeci, K-Ci, JoJo]
Sometimes I get so lonely
Wanna call you, baby
Just a little love is all I need
(I call you, baby, when I'm lonely)
Just a little love is all I need
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Another day might be too long
(Another day might be too long)
Go slow so nothing goes wrong
(Yeah, oh, yeah)
Just a little love is all I need
(My arms are open wide)
Just a little love is all I need
(Yeah)
(Whoa, oh, oh, oh)
The feel of your warm embrace, baby
(Your lovely, warm embrace, to feel your loving face)
(And I need you, oh)

[Chorus: Jodeci, K-Ci]
I'm still waiting
(I'm still waiting, baby)
For you to come back to love
(Come on back to love, baby)
To fulfill this life
(Come on back, come on back, baby)
We're dreaming of
(I want my, I want my baby, baby, baby)
Another day might be too long

Jodeci

Started in 1983, Jodeci is comprised of two sets of brothers—Cedric and Joel Hailey (also known as K-Ci and JoJo) and Donald and Dalvin Degrate (also known as DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin). Jodeci were once known as the “bad boys of R&B,” notable particularly because they were actually boys at the time, breaking out as teenagers in 1991 with their debut album and its title ballad, “Forever My Lady.” Natives of North Carolina, they were discovered by Heavy D, who overheard their demo when an A&R at Uptown was in the process of passing on them. Heavy D introduced Jodeci to Uptown founder Andre Harrell, who signed them after they sang in his office, and handed them off to his then-protégé Puff Daddy, who outfitted the group in dark shades and coordinating leather ensembles. The look, along with the streetwise soul found in songs like “Cry 4 U” and “Feenin” (as well as a few run-ins with the law) made them the antithesis to good-guy personas of then-peaking R&B superstars Boyz II Men. Devante, who along with Mr. Dalvin held down production duties for the group, founded the Swing Mob, a collective responsible for the discovery of musical geniuses like Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Static Major. As a group, Jodeci would go on to release three critically-acclaimed album in the ‘90s, before disappearing from the limelight. K-Ci and JoJo splintered off as a duo in 1997, producing hit single “All My Life” and, eventually, five albums, but adoring fans never let go of their Jodeci obsession. In March, the group released The Past, The Present, The Future, the first Jodeci album in two decades. Jodeci, if y'all reading this, where’d you go?
