[Intro: K-Ci, JoJo, Jodeci]
Come and talk to me, I really want to meet you, girl
I really want to know your name
Whoa, come and talk to me, I really want to meet you, girl
I really want to know your name, oh yeah, babe, woo
You look so sexy, you really turn me on
Blow my mind every time I see your face, girl
You look so sexy you really turn me on
Blow my mind every time I see your face, girl

[Verse 1: K-Ci]
I've been watching you, for so very long
Trying to get my nerve built up to be so strong
I really want to meet you, but I'm kind of scared
'Cause you're the kind of lady with so much class
I get my thoughts together for the very next day
But when I see you lady I forget what to say
Your eyes and hair, such a beautiful tone
The way you dress and walk, it really turns me on, yeah
Ooh, you really turn me on, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon

[Chorus: Jodeci & K-Ci]
Come and talk to me, I really wanna meet you
Can I talk to you? I really wanna know you
(I wanna know you)
Come and talk to me, I really wanna meet you
Can i talk to you? (Ooh yeah) I really wanna know you
(Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)

[Verse 2: K-Ci]
There you are again, with the same smile on each day
I wanna know what it is that makes me feel this way
I wish I could grab you, tell you what it means to me
To see you walking by and wave, that really makes my day
Before I go to sleep, and dream about you
I'm a single man, I hope that you are single, too
Tomorrow I'll say something to set my mind free
'Cause curiosity is buggin' the hell out of me, yeah baby
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, baby

[Chorus: Jodeci & K-Ci]
Come and talk to me (My baby), I really wanna meet you
Can I talk to you? (Girl) I really wanna know you
(And you know, and you know, you know, and you know know know, baby)
Come and talk to me, I really wanna meet you
(I wanna meet you)
Can I talk to you? I really wanna know you
(Said I wanna know you, baby)

[Refrain: Jodeci & K-Ci]
I wanna know, you wanna tell me your name?
(Won't you tell me your name)
Let me play your game
(Let me play your game, oh yeah)
I wanna know

[Outro: K-Ci]
Ooh, I just wanna get real nasty with you, baby
Oh, ooh yeah, come on, baby, come on, baby
Oh, I want you, baby
Oh, do you really want me, too?

Jodeci

Started in 1983, Jodeci is comprised of two sets of brothers—Cedric and Joel Hailey (also known as K-Ci and JoJo) and Donald and Dalvin Degrate (also known as DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin). Jodeci were once known as the “bad boys of R&B,” notable particularly because they were actually boys at the time, breaking out as teenagers in 1991 with their debut album and its title ballad, “Forever My Lady.” Natives of North Carolina, they were discovered by Heavy D, who overheard their demo when an A&R at Uptown was in the process of passing on them. Heavy D introduced Jodeci to Uptown founder Andre Harrell, who signed them after they sang in his office, and handed them off to his then-protégé Puff Daddy, who outfitted the group in dark shades and coordinating leather ensembles. The look, along with the streetwise soul found in songs like “Cry 4 U” and “Feenin” (as well as a few run-ins with the law) made them the antithesis to good-guy personas of then-peaking R&B superstars Boyz II Men. Devante, who along with Mr. Dalvin held down production duties for the group, founded the Swing Mob, a collective responsible for the discovery of musical geniuses like Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Static Major. As a group, Jodeci would go on to release three critically-acclaimed album in the ‘90s, before disappearing from the limelight. K-Ci and JoJo splintered off as a duo in 1997, producing hit single “All My Life” and, eventually, five albums, but adoring fans never let go of their Jodeci obsession. In March, the group released The Past, The Present, The Future, the first Jodeci album in two decades. Jodeci, if y'all reading this, where’d you go?
