[Intro]
What are you lookin' at?
(Yeah)

[Verse 1]
I saw this coming from a mile away
I saw a crack in the egg
A little rip in the page
I found your necklace on the floor
(Breathing)
Underneath the bed
Where you said
I was the only one

[Pre-Chorus]
You thought I'd cry
(You-thought-I'd-cry)
You thought I'd lay down and die
You thought there's no getting over you
(Ha-ha)
And all this time
(All-this-time)
You've been having your fun
I've been having some fun too

[Chorus]
Cause' it takes one, to know one
Congrats you've met your match
You think I'd lie here, heartbroken
But the knife is in your back
(In-your-back)

[Verse 2]
You left your suit, you left your tie
And looked me in the eye
And swore that it was business baby
(Yeah, right)
And when you left I got a call
That started it all
And now it's not your business ba-by

[Pre-Chorus]
You thought I'd cry
(You-thought-I'd-cry)
You thought I'd lay down and die
You thought there's no getting over you
(Ha-Ha)
But all this time
(All-this-time)
You've been having your fun
I've been having some fun too

[Chorus]
Cause' it takes one, to know one
Congrats you've met your match
You think I'd lie here, heartbroken
(I'd-lie-here)
But the knife is in your back
(In-your-back)

[Verse 3]
You're such a wreck
The cutest accident
Makes so much sense
You'll come back to me, oh
(Ahh)

[Bridge]
And I'll let you
Hey
Huh
You're back

[Chorus]
Cause' it takes one, to know one
Congrats you've met your match
You think i'd lie here, heartbroken
(I'd-lie-here)
But the knife is in you're back
(In-your-back)
Cause' it takes one, to know one
(Hi, nice to meet you)
Congrats you've met your match
You think I'd lie here heartbroken
(I'll-lie-here)
But the knife is in your back
(In-your-back)

Katy Perry

Katheryn Elizabeth “Katy” Hudson (born October 25, 1984), known by her stage name Katy Perry, is an American singer, songwriter, businesswoman, philanthropist, and actress. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Having had very little exposure to mainstream pop music in her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teen and released her debut self-titled studio album in 2001. She also recorded a second solo album in 2005, (A) Katy Perry, which was scrapped.

Afterwards, Perry (her mother’s maiden name, taken to avert confusion with Kate Hudson) reinvented herself as a party girl pop star, breaking out with 2008’s One of the Boys and the #1 hits “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot n Cold”.

Follow-up Teenage Dream (2010) equalled Michael Jackson’s record of five chart-toppers on the same album, and made Perry even more ubiquotous in the pop landscape. Following her marriage and eventual divorce from British comedian Russell Brand, she released an updated version, Teenage The Complete Confection and concert film Katy Part of Me in 2012. She released her fourth album, Prism, in 2013, along with some standalone singles, such as “Rise”.
