[Verse 1]
And now the sun is rising
Another long walk back home (Back home)
There's just so many faces
But no one I need to know (Need to know)
In the dark, I can fight it
I fake 'til I'm numb
But in the bright light
I taste you on my tongue

[Chorus]
Now the party's over
And everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I
Wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?

[Post-Chorus]
(Ah-ah-ah-ah)
(Ah-ah-ah-ah, oh)
Or am I just hungover?

[Verse 2]
Even my dirty laundry
Everything just smells like you (Like you)
And now my head is throbbing
Every song is outta tune (Just like you)
In the dark, I can fight it
'Til it disappears
But in the daylight
I taste you in my tears

[Chorus]
Now the party's over
And everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I
Wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?

[Bridge]
Now I've got myself lookin' like a mess
Standin' alone
Here at the end, try to pretend, but no (But no)
I put up my fight, but this is it this time (This time)
'Cause I'm here at the end, try to pretend
Here at the end, try to pretend
Oh, oh-oh

[Chorus]
Now the party's over
And everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I
I wonder what went wrong, and
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor (Like the bottles on the floor)
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?

[Chorus]
Now the party's over
And everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I
Wonder what went wrong (I wonder what went wrong)
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
But does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?

[Post-Chorus]
(Ah-ah-ah-ah)
(Ah-ah-ah-ah, oh)
Or am I just hungover?

Kesha

Kesha Rose Sebert, whose mononymous stage name was previously spelled Ke$ha, is an American singer-songwriter best known for hits like “Tik Tok” and “Praying.” Her mother, Pebe Sebert is also a songwriter, and the two have worked together on songs like “Learn to Let Go.”

In 2005, at age eighteen, Kesha signed a record deal with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records. Her first major recording was an uncredited feature on Flo Rida’s 2009 hit “Right ‘Round,” which she recorded after walking into a session between Flo and Dr. Luke. She released her debut album, Animal, the next year, after choosing from hundreds of songs, and the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lead single “Tik Tok” broke the record for the longest time for a female artist’s debut single to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Nine months after Animal dropped, Kesha rereleased it alongside Cannibal, an extended play featuring hits like “We R Who We R,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Blow.” In February 2011, Kesha kicked off her Get Sleazy Tour, which travelled through the Americas, Europe, and Australia. During the tour, she began writing for her sophomore album, Warrior, which was released in November 2012. She then embarked on a world tour, and was joined by future “Timber” collaborator Pitbull on the North American leg.
